Clockwork Security Ltd

Clockwork Security Ltd have been appointed to provide Security Services to The Assembly Rooms, George St, Edinburgh. The Assembly Rooms is a world renowned event venue operated by Edinburgh City Council and hailed as Edinburgh's most pretigious licensed premises. Clockwork Security Managing Director Bryan Eadie is quoted as saying ' this has come at the end of a terrific year for us and is reward for all the hard work we've done this year, it will hopefully will lead to bigger and better for us next year making us a major force in the provision of Security Services.

Clockwork Sheffield moves to new £1.3M warehouse at Vector 31

Clockwork Sheffield has moved premises from Dronfield to brand new premises at Vector 31 off Junction 31 on the M1. Clockwork Removals has managed to secure a 5 year lease with an option to buy the property at today’s market rate within 18 months of entry. The building is in an excellent location and can hold in excess of 700 crates with state of the art offices. Chris Johnston and his team from the Sheffield branch can now focus on building the business not only organically but through bolt on acquisitions should they arise in the future.

Clockwork Properties sells West Harbour Road for £2.07M

Clockwork Properties has concluded selling our site at West Harbour Road to Waterfront Edinburgh Limited. This will enable Waterfront to develop the site and add to the land they have already completing Zone C from the Waterfront Masterplan. Clockwork have agreed to a 3 month rollling leaseback arrangement.

Clockwork Removals purchases Alton (International) Limited

Alton (International) Limited has been purchased from John McGinty and his family. Alton Moves Group is a well known and highly respected local removal company with a reputation for offering a first class removal service at reasonable prices and has been trading for over 30 years. This is an important acquisition for Clockwork and has contracts within the business which can hopefully utilised within other Clockwork offices. Lionel Smith has been promoted from Operations at our NW10 and SW19 offices to Branch Manager with immediate effect and is charged with integrating the business into Clockwork.


1st July 2008

Clockwork Group of Removal companies to merge into Clockwork Removals Limited.

It has been decided that the best way for Clockwork to achieve it's aims of becoming a leading national removals and storage business within the UK is to merge all the existing business into one limited company. This will take effect legally from 1st August 2008 and all the limited removals companies within the group will become Clockwork Removals Limited.


1st July 2008

Clockwork Removals acquires Perth Removals.

Clockwork Removals has today purchased Perth Removals from the John MacLachlan Group. Our aim is to build the business and intergrate the company into Clockwork. Neil Moodie has been promoted to Manager from our Edinburgh depot where he was sales estimator. It will be a tough challenge to get the business up to number one but we have great confidence in Neil's abilities.

Clockwork Group Holdings acquires The Removals Company and Robert Beattie as National Development Director.

Clockwork Group Holings has acquired The Removals Company from Robert Beattie who now joins the board as our National Operations Director. The Removals company based in Glasgow will now be bolted onto and run from Clockwork Mac Pac.

Chris Johnson appointed Branch Manager of Clockwork Lawlers

Chris Johnson has been appointed Branch Manager of Clockwork Lawlers Limited. Chris joined Clockwork in 2001 and has been a major help in the success in creating Clockwork to be the number one removals firm in Edinburgh. Chris will be a great success and asset to Lawlers and this promotion will help him realise his full potential and is a well deserved promotion for a very capable and loyal member of staff. His main focus will be to turn the business around and get it back to being the number one removals firm in Sheffield.

Clockwork Group Holdings acquires Lawlers Removals and Storage

Clockwork Group Holdings has acquired Lawlers Removals and Storage based in Sheffield, Derbyshire. Formed over 50 years ago this is a well established business in the area with good loyal staff focused mainly on the domestic market. This acquisition again highlights the continued commitment of Clockwork in becoming a major National Removals and Storage business

Bryan Eadie appointed Managing Director of Clockwork Security

Bryan has been promoted from Manager to Managing Director of Clockwork Security Limited. Bryan has been instrumental since arriving in April 07 as assistant manager and has not only boosted sales but provided an excellent service to our customers. In recognition of his positive contribution and his long term plans for the development and expansion of the business this promotion is well deserved.
