Clockwork Removals purchases Gerard Removals

Clockwork have purchased Glasgow based Gerard Removals from Newstead Group located in Staffordshire. This will add significant benefits to our Glasgow Branch with over 600 crates, record management, and a very established West Coast moving name added to our portfolio. The business has an existing management team who will all be transferred over to Clockwork. This will enable Newstead to focus on there core property business and Clockwork to offer a greater level of service to our customers.

Clockwork Removals (Properties) LLP purchases Wokingham Property

Clockwork have purchased for £600,000 two units from Anglo St James in Wokingham. The adjoining units will be converted into the one warehouse and our Windsor Branch is now being relocated before the lease expires at the end of this month. The unit will have a capacity for over 200 crates and provide a top quality facility for our Branch to operate efficiently from

Clockwork Removals purchases SBS Movers

Clockwork Removals have purchased SBS removals from Jonathan Bramwell. This is undoubtedly a fantastic deal for both parties and will make an enormous difference to our existing branch. We are now looking to add a further 21,000 sqft building to our existing branch with Jonathan becoming our Sales Manager for both our Louth and Sheffield Branches. This is the first time we have conducted an acquisition whereby the existing owner remains with the business and helps integrate both businesses. With a first class person in Jonanthan and his team we aim to continue our goal in becoming the UK's number one removals business.

Clockwork Removals purchases Cookson Removals

Clockwork Removals have purchased Cookson & Son Moving from Gallagher’s International Removals based in Northern Ireland. Paul Gallagher the owner was keen to do a quick deal with the minimum of fuss and the deal was completed within two days. The business based in Poulton-le-fyde will be relocated to our Preston Branch by the end of this month with all storage and telephone numbers being transferred over. This follows Clockworks stated strategy of acquiring businesses within a short radius of an existing branch and bolting it on and benefiting from the synergies achieved.

Clockwork Removals gains ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001

Clockwork is delighted and proud to have received full accreditation for ISO9001, 14001 and 18001 standards, also incorporating BS EN 12522 (domestic removals), BS EN 14873 (storage) and PAS126 (commercial moving).

These standards have been awarded as an integrated set through the demanding PAS99 standard.

Jamie Mann, National Operations Director was delighted to receive the award on Clockwork's behalf.

Clockwork Security gains ISO 9001

Clockwork Security are delighted to announce achieving ISO 9001 accreditation. It has taken several long months with a lot of hard work to gain this standard but will help us with more substantial contracts in the future. Our new standards include BS - 7499, BS - 7858, BS - 7960 . Our certification will take place in 6-8 wks. Clockwork Security are currently still actively seeking to become Approved Contractors from the SIA.

Clockwork Removals purchases three branches from Fox Moving

Clockwork Removals have completed the purchase of the Preston, Louth and Windsor depots from Fox Moving. All staff are being transferred under TUPE and the existing branch managers will now report to Group Operations Director Jamie Mann. As well as the assets we have purchased the freehold premises in Louth and will now seek to relocate the excess Windsor storage into Clockwork Trade Storage. This represents a good deal for both parties and Clockwork will now carry out future workings in these areas on behalf of Fox Moving.
